Kodi Tracker FAQ

Answers to common questions about Kodi Tracker, rental property finance workflows, pricing, and getting started.

What does Kodi Tracker help landlords do?

Kodi Tracker helps landlords track rental income, deductions, arrears, net rent, tenant records, and portfolio performance from one place.

Who is Kodi Tracker built for?

Kodi Tracker is built for DIY landlords and small property investors who want a simpler way to manage rental property finances without relying on scattered spreadsheets.

Does Kodi Tracker support WhatsApp reminders?

Yes. Kodi Tracker includes WhatsApp reminder workflows so landlords can automate payment follow-ups and reduce missed due dates.

How much does Kodi Tracker cost?

Kodi Tracker offers a Free plan for new landlords, a Basic plan at KES 1,500 per month for growing portfolios, and a Self-Host option for organizations with custom infrastructure needs.

Can I manage more than one property or workspace?

Yes. Kodi Tracker supports multiple properties and workspaces so landlords can organize different portfolios or operating entities separately.

How do I get started?

You can create an account from the app signup flow, start with the Free plan, and then upgrade when you need more scale, support, or reporting capabilities.

Does Kodi Tracker support M-Pesa?

Yes. Kodi Tracker connects to your own M-Pesa paybill or till number via the Daraja API. Once connected, tenant payments made to your paybill are automatically tracked and recorded in your ledger. You use your own paybill — Kodi Tracker does not provide one.

What channels do automated reminders use?

Kodi Tracker uses the best available channel automatically without landlord intervention. Depending on your workspace settings and available credits, reminders may be sent via SMS or WhatsApp. If one channel fails, the system falls back to the other when possible.
